LCSO: Tallahassee man arrested for attempted murder after shooting woman in the head
A man who allegedly shot a woman in the head at a residence in eastern Leon County has been arrested on two counts of attempted murder and other charges.
Corey Smith, 28, of Tallahassee, was arrested following the shooting on Saturday and taken to the Leon County Detention Facility, said Deputy Shade McMillian, spokesman for the Sheriff's Office.

Deputies were called about 10:30 p.m. Saturday to a residence in the 1900 block of Millworks Way and found a female on the ground with a gunshot wound to her head.
2020年欧冠赛程表Smith, meanwhile, was being detained at the scene by witnesses, who said he apparently tried to shoot one person but struck another.
2020年欧冠赛程表"Witnesses advised that Smith had been in an argument with a female on scene when he physically attacked her," McMillian said in the release. "She was able to get away and Smith subsequently fired one shot, hitting another victim in the head."
The female Smith initially attacked told investigators she heard him say he intended to shoot her and not the other victim. Witnesses tackled and detained him until the arrival of deputies, who found the gun at the scene.
The gunshot victim, whose name was not released, was taken to Tallahassee Memorial HealthCare and later to Shands Hospital. LCSO did not provide the victim's condition.
All victims in the case exercised their rights under Marsy's Law, which is designed to protect the rights of crime victims. Under the law, victims can ask law enforcement to keep their names confidential.
Smith was held on two counts of attempted murder, two counts of child cruelty and abuse and one count of domestic battery by strangulation.
